March Already ??

I can't believe that it is already March! This year is really flying by. We have been so busy lately I feel like we haven't had a day to just spend time as a family at home. The weather was so beautiful on Tuesday we spent time outside all afternoon with Kash and it was wonderful.

I have added some really cute pictures of the last couple of weeks!!

We pray with Kash every night with Kash and he has started saying Thank You Jesus, Amen. He is also laying his head on the bed next to me or Troy. So cute!

Every night Kash gets mad if I don't lay down with him in his bed so he runs to the door, well this night Troy just happened to walk by him and he stuck his hand under the door. It was so cute!

Kash goes to school every Tuesday and Thursday and he never gets a nap, I came home from work last week and found this in Troy's chair. What a sweet moment for Troy and Kash. I love it.

Well this night Kash was mad at me again because I didn't lay down with him so he got really quite in his room and I went to check on him and I found this pallet on the floor. Can you believe he made this. It's a perfect pallet!

Kash is 2! Can you believe that our little one is 2 years old. My how the time has flown by. He has so much personality right now! He is very passionate about everything that he does. When he is happy he is happy and when he is mad you better watch out cause he is going to hit you. (We are working on this)

I know, I know, it has been forever since I have updated. What a day to do it though snow. Right now we have 6 inches at our house. I can't believe it. Troy and I haven't been skiing in 3 years and man if this isn't making us itch to go somewhere for the weekend. :)

We have been very busy as you can tell from me not updating in forever. We have a very busy 2 year old. On Sunday we had Kash's 2 birthday party (sniff, sniff I can't believe it) We had lots of friends and family here and it was a great time.

I have uploaded some pictures of the last 2 months. I didn't get any pictures of the birthday party because I couldn't find my purse that my camera was in. So I'm hoping that PawPaw got lots of pictures that he is going to be able to share.

This is my first attempt at posting a blog. My brother-in-law's oldest son Bryson is our number one hunting buddy. All he wants to do is spend as much time as he can at the land doing what Grandad and dad are doing. Earlier this week we stayed the night and was going to wake up early to hunt. Let me remind you if this kid knows he is going hunting he dresses in camo four days before we leave. So this is where my first brysonism takes place. we are driving to put a feeder out that he had just helped his dad and I fix, it is dark . we are driving and this kid is fired up to see a deer. Well we come over a hill and boom four deer are staring right at us you can see the reflection from our headlights on their eyes. So i stop and tell bryson look there is deer right in front of us he says where i don't see them, then Marte comes up to my door and says look bryson they are right in front of us. Bryson looks at his dad and says dad all i saw was a bunch of head lights looking at me, at that time i had the biggest smile on my face and i am sure is dad did too and realized how blessed i am to have this little guy in my life. It is those little moments that i will always remember. More brysonisms to follow.

Our little boy is growing up way to fast. He is learning all kinds of words and animal sounds. He can point to his nose, eyes, ears, chin, teeth, feet, bellybutton and many more. He is so much fun right now. This is so far my favorite age. I don't want him to grow anymore. I get kinda sad everyday because he is just growing way to fast. :)

Happy early 50th birthday Granddad!!!!

Beans got Granddad 2 4 wheelers for his 50th birthday. It's not until the 22nd but we couldn't wait that long to give them to him.

Kash got a new chair that he can sit outside with, if it ever stops raining. He loves it!!!

Ok, I promise I want to update my blog but we can't find out camera cord anywhere. Kash probably hide it somewhere. He does that a lot right now.

Kash started school last week and I have two very cute pictures of him on my camera but I can't get them off :( He cried when Troy dropped him off and when we went to church on Saturday night he cried for 15 mins. Poor little baby. I know it will get better and he will love it. We just have to get through this next week.

Swimming Lessons

This last week we put Kash in swim lessons, Aunt Ninna told us about this wonderful swim coach that Reece went to when he was little.

So after much debt we bit the bullet and did it. Troy was doing the extreme home makeover last week so he was gone every night until Friday so it was Momma and Kash. You have to leave them there with the teacher so they can concentrate on the lessons. When I left the first day he was crying. I got back and he was still crying so I wasn't sure this was going to work but Mr Bobby showed me what Kash learned that day and he swam across the pool on the first day.

So we went back on Tuesday and it got much easier for him to stay with a stranger and learn. By the end of the week he was swimming all over the place. We are so proud of our little guy.

Sunday we went over to Nana & PawPaw's house to go swimming and eat pizza for PawPaw's birthday. It was a really nice day outside. Our fun in the pool got ruined by the rain but it is much needed right now so that is ok. Thank you for having a swim party PawPaw we had a blast. Happy Birthday.

4th of July fun

Happy 4th of July America!!!!!

This weekend we went to the lake with some of our friends The Harvey's and Sharps. It was very relaxing except Kash wouldn't sleep in his own bed so Kash and I slept in a twin bed. No fun or sleep for mom, but I did get some cuddle time with my sweet baby boy. We took Kash out on the boat for the first time and it was so cute. He loved it for about 1 minute then he passed out cold. Troy thinks it might remind him of being in the womb. It was a great mini family vacation. :)

Ok so we have been gone the last two weekends from the house and Buddie. Kash and Buddie have started to become really close but I never knew how close until yesterday. We got home yesterday and all took naps, after we woke up we were just letting Kash run around the house and play. Troy and I were sitting on the couch talking to Grandad and it got really quite in the house. Troy stood up to see what Kash was up to and this is what we found..........

I think this is the sweetest thing ever. Buddie is such a good dog, he just lets Kash walk all over him and doesn't even move.

June Already ???

Can you believe that it is June already???? We took Kash to the pool for the first time this year. It was so much fun. He loved the pool!!!! He didn't want to get out.

Ok so we got back from the pool and it was bath time. We walked into the bathroom and Kash was sitting in his wagon like this.

Earlier that day Kash was trying to get into his laundry basket so Beans helped him out. It was so funny and he loved it.

Surgery day!! Monday Kash had his tubes put in his ears. It was so sad to see my baby in this little gown. He is a champ. He did so good though. Not something I want to do again. Hopefully this helps out with the ear infections.

After the meds. He got this little dog (which Daddy named Rocky) he loves it. Rocky now sleeps in his bed.

Troy and I have been getting the house ready to put on the market so last Friday Kash was at the house with us and he found this cowboy hat so we put it on him and got this picture which I think is so cute.

He is really into putting on Troy's hats right now but he will not leave them on. This is at breakfast last weekend. Such a cutie pie.

Tonight at dinner I gave Kash jello on his own plate and let him use his fork and spoon to try and get it. This is what he looked like after much effort.

WARNING here is the naked little boy!!!!Here is the story, we took Kash out in the back yard to play tonight and noticed that his diaper was so full and just sagging really bad so I just took it off. Well as white trash as it was it was so funny to see him running around and he loved it!!!

2nd Mother's Day

What a wonderful day I had yesterday. After church we laid Kash down for his nap and headed to Walmart for to get some stuff to cook dinner.

Saturday Troy played in the annual Kramer games and our friend Carrissa was running the games this year since Jerome played so I went and picked up her little girl and took her and Kash to the park. It was so much fun. Kash is still a little to small for this park we went to but Mandalynn found a big sand box. Kash loved the sand. It took him a minute to figure it out but we stayed in the sand box for a good hour. Mandalynn and I made tomato basil soup for dinner
(out of sand of course.)

On Friday I had to take the day off to take Kash to 2 different dr's appointments. I took this picture of him at his 15 month well check appointment. I call it my little Hollywood. So Kash is 25 pounds and 33 inches. Still 50% in weight and 90% in height. I see so much of Troy in him everyday. He is so much fun right now. He has gotten so much more active lately, which sometimes I just want him to be still but oh well. I love it.

Our 2nd appointment was with the ear, nose & throat dr and after a 45 minute wait in a non kid friendly office we finally saw the dr and he was in for I swear a minute, looked in his ears and said yep we need tubes. So on June 1st my little baby will get tubes. Cross your fingers this will help.

Mine and Troy's nephew played his first ever show at 8.O's. He opened up for Johnny Cooper on Wednesday. He did so well. Troy and I were so happy for him to have a big dream come true for him. Way to go Connor. Keep it up!!!!

Kash's new hair cut. Troy took him to Walmart (I don't know why) to get his hair cut and it turned out pretty cute. If you don't fix it it looks all choppy but oh well. He is still so cute.

Troy was getting ready to shave and Kash kept crying so Troy put some shaving cream on his face and he loved it.

Mom and I went to get grocery's a couple of weeks ago and I saw this golf club set for $5 so I bought it. It has been his favorite toy ever. He loves these. So watch out Tiger Woods here comes Kash Carlisle.

We went to eat the other night with mom and dad and outside the restaurant was this air conditioning unit that was blowing air, Dad put Kash over it and he thought it was so funny. I had to get a pic of that.

3 Years already!!!

This is a picture that Troy took on our honeymoon. Our 3 year Anniversary was yesterday. It feels like 3 years has flown by. I was delivered 12 long stem red roses to work yesterday to start off an great night.

Beans & Granddad watched Kash while we went out to dinner. Here we are at our table at Trulucks.

Trulucks is known for there crab and let me tell you it was really good. I had steak and some crab it was great. Troy's steak wasn't that good but the rest of the meal made up for it. All I can say is thank you God for my wonderful hubby. I feel truly blessed everyday to have Troy. Here is to many more years with him.

Easter Egg Hunt

Kash and I went with Rachel and Brock to the Flower Mound Easter egg hunt, last year Kash was only a couple of months old when Easter got here so this year he gets to get some eggs and candy. Here he is with his new basket.

We went to sweet Leighton's b-day party on Saturday and Wendy had her photographer there taking pictures and Kash fell in love with her and would smile every time she picked up her camera. I was so excited to get a call from Wendy tonight to tell me Sara took a really cute picture of Kash.

I know that everyone thinks they have the cutest kid in the world but if I do say so myself, what a cutie :) Thank you Wendy for sharing.

We have been so busy the last couple of weeks......... We are packing the house up so we can move into my parents house, figuring out what all we need to sell in our garage sale, going to birthday parties, and work is crazy for us right now.

Kash is getting very close to walking now. He is taking 2 steps at a time and then falling down. Well today he took 4 steps!!! We are getting closer.

Our Valentines Day

What a wonderful weekend we had. Friday night Kash went to Beans & Granddad's house while Mommy & Daddy went to the movies and dinner. Thank you for giving us a night out alone.

Saturday we started the day off with a late breakfast. We then went to pick up Troy's truck from my parents house and Kash and mommy stayed there to hang out for a while. Kash took a much needed nap while mommy hung out w/ Beans & Granddad. Poor Daddy had to go to work.
After Kash woke up from his nap we went to Tyler's game. It was so cold so we had to leave early. Daddy got to stay home after he went to work so he got a little time to himself to play his video game. (He loved it, I'm sure.)

Kash went to bed early so we got to have a very romantic candle light dinner. It was a great valentines day for us. Mommy couldn't have asked for a better day!!!

Where did the time go????? This last year has flown by. Kash is taking 2 or 3 steps at a time right now. I don't know how much longer our little one will be crawling. I think he will be walking soon. Kash's party was a big hit. Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate our little cowboys bday.

Christmas is getting near

Kash is at such a fun age right now. We can't wait for Christmas to get here to see how he is going to react to his gift. We took some family pictures a couple weeks ago with my side of the family and my mom brought a present for all the boys. Kash didn't really understand what was going on but he tried.

Troy and I got the tree down a couple of weeks ago and Kash loved the blue balls. He has done pretty good with not pulling them off so far. We have to tell him no once and a while.

I know everyone is going to think I'm crazy but Kash loves his Bevo!! The other night I was running his bath water and Troy was getting Kash undressed for his bath and they come walking into the bathroom and Troy said Kash wanted to bring something to his bath with him and he had Bevo by the horn. Bevo is just as big as him if not bigger. It was so cute. Here are few pictures Troy took for me the other night while I was cooking dinner.

It is hunting season so of course Troy has been gone every weekend for the last month. He hasn't been as lucky as he was last year. No deer for him yet. Marte and Jerome have both shot 8 points though so the deer are still out there. Since our land is only 45 mins away Troy can come home to see us between hunts. Sunday he didn't have anyone to go with him so I asked Mom and Dad to watch Kash. We headed out around 3. We sat there and listen to nature. It was peaceful . Unlucky for me didn't see any deer. I did get this beautiful picture of the sunset though.

Troy and I took Kash to the doctor last week for his 9 months check up. He is growing like a weed. He is 20 pounds 29.5 inches. Still tall and skinny. I didn't think he was going to still be in the 95% in height. He is though. My baby is growing up so fast. He still loves bath time of course.

9 months ago you came into our world. Daddy and I will never forget February 8, 2008. Our life changed forever. God blessed us with the perfect gift. A healthy baby boy. Here are 9 things we love most about you.

1. We love that every morning you when wake up the first thing you do is give us a big smile.
2. We love the sweet way you put your hand on our face to show us that you love us.
3. We love that you are so determined at everything you do. You never give up on anything. You try and try until you are so tired and fall over with exhaustion.
4. We love that when you are hungry you look at me like lady you better get me some food.
5. We love that when we put you in your car seat you grab on to the handle like you know we are going for a ride.
6. We love that when we go to pick you up hold your arms up with the most helpless look.
7. We love that when you are tired you "sing" so that you don't have to go to sleep.
8. We love that when we put you in your jumper you "talk" so much that we can't even hear ourselves think.
9. We love watching you learn something new every day.

Kash you have brought so much joy to Mommy and Daddy's life. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to live life to the fullest every day. You are the joy and light of our life and we love you more than anything.

We got Kash a new toy. A walker. He loves it. Darla says she has a hard time getting him out of it during the day. Troy and I both learned today that you have to watch your toes when he is in it.

Kash Carlisle.... kind of sounds like a Nascar driver!!! You never know he could be the next Dale Jr. The only problem is he turns right not left. :)

Casen's 1st birthday and Dirt Cake

We went to Casen's 1st party last Saturday and Kash had a blast with all his friends. Casen had dirt cake for his cake so I got a plate for myself and while I was holding Kash and trying to open the door to go back outside to join the party Kash thought he needed to have a little taste so he grabbed my plate with both hands and started shoving it in his mouth. When I went to wash his hands and face he got so mad at me.

Our little monkey was a little monkey for Halloween this year. If I do say so myself he was the cutest monkey I have ever seen. We went to Shyana and Donald's house to trick or treat with Demi and Dax. I pushed Kash in the stroller while they ran door to door. Kash feel asleep while we were walking. Next year he will be a little more fun since he will be able to walk around and go door to door.

I got an e mail from The Russell's today with a prayer request for Baby Witt. This is a baby that was born with a horrible disease that will only give him a little time to be on this earth. The baby seems to only live from 1 month to 1 year. I read these peoples blog http://wittharrislupher.blogspot.com/ and just cried as I thought of how much of my life I take for granted every day. I sweat the small things that God takes care of for me. When I read this blog I see the true faithfulness these people have in God it inspires me to be a better Christian.

Please pray for this family and the problems they are going through each day.

Praise God for sending me this blog!! I know one thing God is Good!

Whewwww What a month. We have been so busy at work and at home. Some of the many things we did last month were birth parties for Mammaw, Granddad, & Bryson. Our baby is growing so fast. He is so close to crawling but not quite there yet. Here are some pictures from last month.

Crazy Daddy. We were eating dinner as a family tonight and I look up to see Troy with the Bumbo on his head.

This is a new thing that Kash is doing. He loves water bottles. I think he is trying to be a big boy and hold his own bottle.

Kash and I went and spent a very much needed day with Mammaw and Pappaw. We had a great time. Pappaw pushed Kash in the swing and he loved it. I told them we had to get a swing set now. Mammaw cooked me a great lunch and Kash took an hour nap while we had some good conversation.

Troy has been working very hard on our house to make it easier for Kash to start crawling around. (Not that he is even close.) Here are the new blinds he added to our bedroom. We had some really awful window shades in here that looked like they were from the 70's.

Wood Floors!!!!! Troy put them in the bedroom and the living room so that we didn't have dog hair infested carpet anymore. They are so much better!!!!! PS love the swiffer vac, thanks Cary for the tip.

What happened to our baby???? Last Friday Troy and I took Kash for his 6 month check up, he was 15 pounds 13 ounces and 273/4 inches long. Still 25% in weight and 75-95% height. He is growing up so fast. He is now eating 3 meals of baby food a day which he loves as you can see in this picture!!!

We got to have some family time with our sister-in-law Cary (sorry didn't get a pic) & Olivia our niece. She got to feed Kash one night and it was so funny. Thanks Livy for the help.

One of my sales ladies took us out for a celebratory dinner because she has sold 6 houses in the last month and Danny (my boss) and I did all the loans. We had a nice night out without Kash while Aunt Ninna got to keep him for the first time. Thanks Ninna.

1st Family Vacation

We go on vacation every year with my family and this year we went to Destin, FL. It was so fun. The beach is beautiful and the water is clear. I wasn't sure how taking a 5 month old to the beach was going to be but it turned out pretty good.

We started our 12 hour drive at 5 on Tuesday morning. Troy, Kash, Mom, Dad, and I rode in a van that my parents rented. Marte, Rach, and the boys rode in there car. Long story short we were half way there and Marte and Rach got a flat tire so we had to stop at walmart to get the tire fixed. An hour and a half later we get back on the road. A 12 our drive turned into a 15 hour drive. Kash and the boys did really good. The last hour they were tired but did great. At 10 we got unpacked and checked into our room.

The 2nd day we hung out on the beach all day, That night my parents watched all 3 boys for us while Troy and I went on a date with Marte and Rach. It was nice to get away without a baby for dinner for once. We went to a seafood place on the beach and then we had to have desert so we went to Chili's because they have the best in the world.

The next couple of days we hung out on the beach and had a lot of family time hanging out with everyone. It was a great trip and I'm so glad we got to get away. Rach and I went para sailing it was so pretty. On Saturday the boys went deep sea fishing and all our boys caught a fish. Poor Matt and Tyler didn't.

Little things that we will not forget like the shark that swam right in between Jen and I, Jellyfish stings, and all the laughs we had. We are so blessed that our family can go away together and have a great time. Can't wait to do it again next year. Especially when Kash and Chloe are able to run around with the other kids. :)

Carlisle Family Reunion

Every June Troy's family has a family reunion. We usually go to Lake Proctor but they were doing construction on the lake this year so we were not able to go there. The good news for us was they moved it to Mustang Park in Benbrook. This is way closer for us.

Saturday night Troy stayed at the lake with our nephews to do the family tradition of night fishing. Kash and I came home to get a good night sleep in our own bed. I know Troy had fun with the boys but he can't wait to teach Kash how to night fish.

I know it has been forever since I've updated. I'm sorry I promise to get more post on here.

Well Kash is now rolling from his back to his belly, which he hates by the way. Last Monday Troy and I were doing laundry and packing for our vacation to Destin and Kash was trying so hard to roll over. The minute I walk into the kitchen he did it. Troy got to see it. I ran and grabbed the camera and took some pictures. Well then he got mad!!! He didn't like being on his belly.

He is getting so big so fast. Before we know it he will be walking and talking.

4 Months!!

This weekend Rachel and I took the boys to get some pictures made for my parents anniversary. I also wanted to get some pictures for Troy's father's day present. He has already seen them though because they were just too cute not to share. They turned out so cute. I love them. The trip told me one thing, I don't think I want 3 kids. Ha Ha. No I'm kidding it wasn't bad. We were just gone all day and Kash didn't get much of a nap so he was a little fussy at the end. The one good thing is that he slept all night for the first time that night. Way to go Kash.

Last night Kash slept all through the night again so maybe we are getting on a pattern. We will see. Today I took him for his 4 month check up and shots (poor little guy). He was 26 inches long, Weighed 13 pounds, and his head was 16 inches around. So he is just growing. Of course he was still 95% in height and 25% in weight and head just like last time. Still tall and skinny.

He is just so much fun. As you can tell from the pictures he is just laughing and smiling all the time now. It seems like he is learning more and more everyday. He holds his head up all the time now which is great. He is also trying to roll over so bad. He can almost get there but not yet.

Here are some recent pictures of Mr Kash. He is getting so big so fast. He is trying to roll over and sit up on his own now. It is so amazing how everyday he learns something new. He talks all the time. He is a morning person (which he gets from his daddy.) He is laughing and smiling more and more each day. We are truly blessed and we have learned that nothing is better than being a parent.

We go back to the Dr on the 10th for his 4 month check up, yes it has already been 4 months since our little monkey was born. I can't wait to see how much he has grown.

We tried some cereal for the first time and he hated it. He screamed his head off. We got it on tape of course so we will show him when he gets a little bigger. Another 1st time thing we did was last week we went to Melinda's for a family get together and I tried to put him in the pool. Bad idea. It was still a little too cold for him. Today we tried again at our house and he loved it. (as you can see from the pictures.) We videoed that also.

Mother's Day Weekend

My first Mother's Day was so great. Kash (Troy) got me a diamond necklace that is so pretty. I love it. On Saturday night we went over to a friends house for a cookout so we took Kash over to Nana and PawPaw's house. They took some really cute pictures of him for us. I love this laugh

Quick update on us, Kash has really started smiling all the time. He is such a sweet little boy. I never knew you could love something so much but he has taught Troy and I to not sweat the small things. How can you have a bad day when this is what you wake up to. Marte and Rachel moved back so Kash is really getting to know his cousins very well. Bryson loves baby Kash and takes really good care of him. Brock is getting better about being sweet to him. We are truly blessed with Darla, she really helps us out with Kash. He is learning so much every day. He is starting to focus and hold his head up more and more everyday. Before we know it he will be walking and talking.

I know, I know I haven't updated in a while. Let's just say it has been an adjustment working and taking care of a baby. We can start off by saying man I love being a mom and Troy loves being a dad. God has really blessed us with a great baby. He is so sweet and he is starting to smile now. Talk about bringing a tear to your eye. Every time he smiles at us we want to cry. Quick updated on his growth, he nows weighs 10 pounds and is 231/2 inches long. Still tall and skinny like daddy. He lovessssss his new babysitter Darla. She is great! We are so lucky because he is the only little one she watches ( sometime Sydney comes to play) so he is a little spoiled. We don't mind though. Troy and I are doing good as well! Hope everyone is doing great.

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

We have had a great easter "weekend" you all know that we are very close with both sides of our family's so anytime that a holiday comes around we are so busy.

Friday we hung out all day with my parents, Marte and Rach and the boys. Beans and Granddad got him his first little easter basket, it had bubbles, a key chain, and a cute little duck it is so cute, the basket is actually a camo beach hat. We are going to the beach the week of 4th of July so Beans thought it would be great to use this hat!! Brock was "loving" on Kash and got a little excited and scratched him on the head so we have our first battle wounds. I'm sure there is many more to come!

Saturday we went to our church for an easter egg hunt (for Bryson & Brock since Kash is not old enough yet) then it was off to Mammaw & Pappaw's for an easter egg hunt and dinner. They got Kash an easter basket full of money. He is rich he has $10 now. After we ate dinner Uncle Bubba and Aunt Rachel left the boys with Beans and Granddad and came over for a sleep over. We played Screwy Louie ( a card game that our good friends Ryan and Erin taught us) and Super Mario Brothers. (Yes, Troy's mom gave us his Nintendo with his old games. It is awesome.)

Sunday we started our day out going to church to see Colby and Jen get baptized which was a wonderful experience we are so happy for them that they have accepted the lord into their lives. Then we headed out to Mamaw's house to spend sometime with Troy's family. It was nice to get some cuddle time with them. Next it was time to head out to Jackie's house for the easter egg hunt and a wonderful lunch. We got to play in the egg toss. Ninna stole Troy from me this year but I got to play with Aunt Tootie, we got cheated though our egg was cracked I'm convinced!!!

It was a fun weekend but man we are tired. I go back to work tomorrow and I'm very sad about it. The good thing is that Kash gets to hang out with Daddy for a couple of days until he goes back to work on Wednesday. Starting Wednesday Kash will start going to Ms. Darla's house. We are very excited for him to meet her. I talked to her to let her know we will be starting then and she is so excited as well. I know this first week is going to be hard but I know we will make it.

All I have to say is what a cutie!!! Bryson and Brock each have an animal towel so I had to get one for Kash so he could match his cousins. I can't wait to get a picture of all 3 of them in the towels together.

As you can tell from this picture he doesn't really like his bath very much! He scream pretty much the whole time. We went to get the 1 month check up on Friday and Kash now weighs 8 pounds 14 ounces, and he is 22 1/2 inches long. The DR says he is going to be tall and skinny (something else he gets from Daddy.)

Tomorrow we will be 1 month old. We are doing really well. We still have our days and nights mixed up so we are really tired during the day. We go to the DR tomorrow for our 1 month check up. I can't believe it has already been a month since we were at the hospital. Mommy and Daddy love being parents still. We have a really great baby. He only cries when he is hungry so that is good. Lets hope it stays that way. Here are some more pictures we are still waiting for Aunt Rach to come in town so we can get some good ones. Mom isn't as good with the camera as she is.

Hey guys,
We are adjusting to our new life as a family. We love our new little family. Being parents is the best gift that god could ever give. He is a great little sleeper and he is eating really well. We have had someone come over every night to visit and it has been really nice. Thank you so much if you have been here to bring us dinner it has been great not having to cook. 37 Weeks Check

Well here they are, my big fat feet. Went to the Dr. today and I'm not dilated at all. My cervix is 20% thinned out and he thinks little (well not so little) Kash is going to be around 8 pounds. He is head down which is a good sign. Troy and I are going to be doing a lot of walking these next couple of weeks. I go back next Wednesday for another check and hopefully we are a little further along. We will see. Hope everyone is good. :)

3 more weeks until our little guy is here. Here is some pics of my big tummy. We are so excited. We can't wait until he is here. We talk about him every night and how much we already love him. We are hoping he will come early and we can meet him. Every time I move Troy asks if it is time to go. Ha Ha. I think he might be dropping but I'm not sure. I know that I have been having a few contractions at night when I lay down so who knows. I'm ready 40 weeks is a long time to be pregnant. Hope everyone is well.

34 Weeks

Here we are at 34 weeks. We are only 6 weeks away from our due date. I went to the Dr. last week and he said we need to watch our swelling in the feet since it was getting pretty bad. I'm still feeling good but getting harder to sleep without having to wake up to go to the bathroom.

Here is the side profile. Wow I'm getting really big. I keep telling Troy he is going to come early. I can just feel it. We will see. I go back to the Dr. on the 16th then we will start the every week visits.

We got a Boo Bear. ( Thank you to Aunt Cary, Uncle Gordon, and Olivia) For those of you who do not know what a Boo Bear is this is one. Troy and I picked out this little blue bear for Bryson before he was born. Well this is his security blanket, he doesn't go anywhere without it. Troy really picked it out so it is kinda special to him. We will see if Kash is as attached to his as Bryson is to his. We will try to take a picture of every week now so everyone can see how much we are growing. Hope everyone has a wonderful year in 2008.

Prego Pics and X-Mas

Last weekend was Brock's 1st birth so Troy and I went down to his birthday party. Mom wanted to do a X-Mas card picture with everyone wearing Cowboys shirts. Here is what turned out. It was so cold but very fun. We went to Chuck E Cheese after with the boys and it was so much fun. We can't wait until our little man is here. Only 9 more weeks.

Rachel, Troy and I went and took some maternity pictures so that we could document how big I was. Ha ha. Here are just a few of them. I'll put more on after the holidays when we have more time :)

I went to the Dr on Tuesday for a check up. Everything is looking good. I'm measuring 31 inches like I'm supposed to. I will go back on the 2nd of January for my next appointment. I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Just a quick update with the baby, we are now going to the doctor every two weeks. With only 12 weeks left I think time is going fast. We have got the house decorated for X mas now which is always fun to me. I love to see all the lights around time. Thanksgiving was really fun to see all of the family. Kash really like to get to eat so much. Last Dr.'s appointment I gained 4 pounds in a month so a little less than the month before but still more than Dr. Tatum wanted me two. I'm at 18 total pounds since I started. Doesn't sound to bad until I look at myself in pictures I think I'm getting really big now. Kash is moving all over the place and it is really fun to try and guess what he is pushing against my stomach with. We think we saw his little head last night. That feeling is so hard to explain but what a blessing god has given me to be able to have a little miracle inside my stomach. Hope everyone is well. Love to all and Happy Holidays!!

After a long night of Aunt Rachel and I cleaning up and putting up everything we got we ended up with the room looking like this. We are not totally done with the room yet but we are getting very close. This is just a preview.

And last but not least. Troy went deer hunting for the first time ever this weekend and he killed a 10 point buck. Here is a picture of the head. We took our poor little deer to the taxidermist to get mounted. P.S. this is not going in Kash's room. We have a nice spot for it in the garage.

23 week check up

Ok, here we are 23 weeks along and 151 pounds. We went to the doctor for another sonogram today and the face and rest of the body looked normal. Then it was off to the doctor for my check up. I got on the scale and it said 151, I gained 8 pounds in one month. Needless to say the doctor told me that was a little much for this time in my pregnancy. Wow that will make a prego lady get depressed. LOL Our little man is growing like he should and all healthy and that is all we care about. We are going to start get his room ready so as soon as we have some stuff up I will post more pictures. Hope everyone is doing well.

Boy or Girl??????? We go on Tuesday for our sonogram comment back to put in a guess for what we are going to have. I'm saying girl but I don't know I'm kind of carring outward so we will see!!!!!

Quick Update

I know, I know more pictures. I have to take some but I wanted to give everyone a quick update....... We got the quad test results and they were negative WOO HOO!! We have our big appointment on Tuesday the 25th @ 3:00. I will update as soon as I get home that day on what our little one is (well as long as they are able to tell. I remember Bryson did want to show himself the first time they tried! Ha Ha) I promise I will post pictures that time. I just haven't really grown that much!

14 Week Check Up

We went to the doctor again yesterday for our monthly check up and heard the heartbeat again. This time it was at 155. The Doctor laughed when we asked what it was and told us not to believe the heart rate rumors because they are not always true!! Who knows. We go back on the 4th of September for the Quad test (this is the blood test where they detect for down syndrome and other stuff.) We had a hard time deciding if we were going to do it or not but have decided to go ahead. We will then go back on the 18th for the monthly check up then the next week will be the big sono where they check all the heart valves, the brain, and as the doctor says the bonus is the crotch. Ha Ha. He told Troy that when he asked if that was when we get to find out if it is a boy or not. We love Dr. Tatum he always makes us laugh. It is good to have a Dr. that make you laugh and not feel stupid for asking why you have a rash on your back and why you have weird looking ant bites, we ask some funny questions I guess but he always just tells us we are funny. I've learned that we have a lot to learn about being parents!!!!!!!

Daddy's 1st Project

Daddy had his first little project tonight! On Saturday Troy, my mom, and I went to look at some baby rooms and we found our crib. We fell in love with it and my parents had told us that they wanted to buy the crib as one of our gift. So of course we couldn't pass up that!!! I got home from work tonight and Troy was in the baby's room putting the crib together. When I walked in he was so disappointed because he wanted to surprise me. Thank you Daddy for putting the bed together. This is the first of many projects for Daddy I'm sure.

12 weeks!

Here I am at 12 weeks. Hopefully this means that the tiredness will go away. We have 2 more months until we can find out what our little lime is. We have started looking for our crib. We went to Canton this weekend to pick out some baby stuff and they had a whole lot of girl stuff but Troy is still hoping for the boy so he didn't like anything girly. The pregnancy is going good now I'm just still really tired and very grouchy. (poor Troy) Everyone says it is normal though so I will owe Troy some big favors since he is just letting me gripe. What a good hubby. He is loving life right now because I go to bed around 8 every night and he gets to watch whatever TV he wants or he gets to play his Xbox.

Vacation!

We went to Leakey, TX for a relaxing vacation with my side of the family. Here are some pictures of the some of the family. We had a blast and wasn't ready to come home. Maybe next year we can stay longer. We will have a 5 month old though so we might not want to stay that long. :)

We have good news to share!!!!!! BUDDIE AND KOBEY ARE GOING TO BE BIG BROTHERS!!!
Troy and I went to the doctor on Tuesday afternoon and I am 7 weeks along and the due date is February 19th. I will have pictures of the dogs celebrating later!!!!!!!

Our Little Family

Here is our little family. Buddie is the yellow lab and Kobey is the brown lab. We became a happy little family a little over a year ago. We currently live in Haltom City in the cutest house ever. We have a pool (well if you have seen it lately it looks like a swamp.) My sister-in-law started a blog for their family and I thought what a great way to keep everyone updated with our life. There will be many more to come.
